Colombia have advanced to their first ever World Cup quarter-final after their win over Uruguay yesterday. It was a cat-and-mouse game for the first 25 minutes as each team tried to gain the upper hand. Colombia’s goal by James in the 28th minute gave Colombia a huge boost. It was followed by yet another goal from James in the 50th minute for a 2-goal advantage. Uruguay’s counteroffensive while substantial wasn’t enough to break the lead. Colombia now move onto face Brazil.
