After a one-sided match yesterday, Netherlands and Argentina opted for a long drawn out game. A scoreless regular 90 minute period gave way to a 30 minute overtime. After either team failed to score, the dreaded penalty shootout began. Argentina’s Romero saved two of the four shots giving them the win over Netherlands (4-2). Argentina now move to the finals on Sunday and have a chance to become World Champions in Brazil, something they will never let Brazil forget if they do win.
